10 second coffee tweak: Changed my Life!
Alan and I dreamed of living in the Bay Area. We love being outdoors and had always dreamed of living close to some of the awesome trails there so we could go hiking and camping every weekend!
But our plans fell apart because I let myself go, health-wise. At age 53, I was 5’7″ and I weighed 192 pounds.
6 months ago, if you’d told me I’d be hiking the Sequoia Bayview Trail in Oakland, I wouldn’t have believed you.
But I did that yesterday!!!

I’ve given birth to 4 beautiful children, and each one added about 15 pounds to my overall size.
And after every birth, I felt heavier, more tired, and honestly, uglier. I didn’t like what I saw in the mirror.
It didn’t help that I’m a great cook. But when you’re 53 years old, good food exactly isn’t your top priority. You start to think about staying healthy and active.
My grandchildren didn’t want to play with me because I couldn’t keep up with them. I couldn’t touch my toes, let alone pick them up! They said I wasn’t “fun”.
Our social life suffered because my friends didn’t invite us to restaurants. They knew I could barely walk 20 steps without panting.
Alan started hiking alone because he had to ask other hikers to help get me back to our car – TWICE.
The worst part is that I saw disappointment in his eyes when he looked at me.
I know he loves me, but I looked nothing like the woman he fell in love with. And I couldn’t blame him.
One day, something happened…
I was sitting on a park bench and a woman I didn’t know sat down next to me. She was my age but half my size. And she said something that changed my life.
She was a little apologetic but she told me something (or Someone?) urged her to talk to me.
She said that she’d been overweight just like me, but everything changed when she discovered what she called a simple “coffee tweak”.
And she said it helped her lose 47 pounds in less than 3 months!
I didn’t believe it because I’ve tried every diet out there.
“But it’s not a diet,” she said as she reached into her purse and gave me a piece of paper with a website address written on it.
“Watch that video. It will tell you everything. You’ll be glad you did.”
Then she stood up and walked away!
It was such an unusual encounter, I had to check it out.
The package arrived the next week. I did the morning routine for three days without checking the scale (I didn’t want to jinx it.)
When I finally looked, I couldn’t believe the results. I had lost 5 pounds. In THREE DAYS. It was amazing!
I had Alan bring the other scale from the bathroom so I could be sure.
But there it was, as plain as day. I’d gone down from 192 to 187 pounds!
The results were remarkable!
My waistline shrunk. I lost 4″ around my waist!!!
The number on the scale declined dramatically.
I had TONS of energy to do the things I love to do!
I could fit into all my favorite outfits again.
My doctor was amazed at my progress!
The crazy part is that I ate whatever I wanted and still lost inches around my waist and thighs.
My life is so much better now. I can’t believe how much time and money I wasted on diets that did nothing.
Enjoying the outdoors is my new favorite activity. I love being outside! But when I do decide to stay home, it’s because I want to spend quality time with my husband, who now calls me his “hottie”.
Like my “angel” said “watch that video, it will tell you everything, you’ll be glad you did.”
